This is either a thinly veiled begging for isk thread, or you just aren't trying that hard to learn the game. Those google searches you did for help playing the game wouldn't have all led to ultra expensive setups. There's more 'noobie guides' than there are advanced guides.
Like someone else said, join EVE university, they'll help you out with any questions you may have, but you're on your own for isk.

Originally by: Stroveni ^^ not necessarily, there are players out there more than willing to help out on the isk front. ive reached a point where i am just running missions to kill time until i cross-train to gallente marauders and fly my kronos. I have isk i dont need so to give about 5 mil to help someone struggling out is no problem. the satisfaction from helping someone out who is really grateful can be better than a new module or ship.
Random strangers trying to manipulate others into giving them isk don't honestly appreciate it. It's a con.
edit: well, it's not the type of game you can just rush right up to the big money and awesome ships. You have to start small and think smart. If you're losing ships so easily and often then more isk isn't going to help you. You need good advice, and if you truly managed to miss all the newbie guides then join EVE university or something similar that's geared towards helping people like yourself.

Originally by: Angelice Everything was peachy until I moved up to a L3 Republic Fleet agent in Auner. I was blissfully unaware that a certain (now infamous) pirate corporation going by the name of mOO were busy discovering the art of low sec ganking.
When it happened I did not have the money to replace the cruiser, it was all tied up in skills I had brought. Two months into playing I was about to lose my first valuable ship and it felt BAD. 30 seconds of watching a failing tank felt like it stretched out for those same two months of work (just to rub it in).
The first ship i lost was a Maelstrom, which only made it so much worse.
Took me ages of mission running, without salvage income, to buy it, and i actually ragequit after losing it. Came back a few months later and by the time i had lost 2 more Maelstroms i stopped caring as much, and when i lost a 3rd i said "**** this" and started training Gallente .
